place ever in Chiang Mai. This place
is so cool and so interesting. It is
a
recently discovered ancient city
been found just out side Chiang Mai
City. The old city has been built
during the reign of King Meng Rai in 1286, the
city was once the capital of the Lanna Kingdom until the
Ping River flooded and wiped out the
whole city....

(Baan-din restaurant, Chiangmai)
This is one of the coolest restaurants of
the month!
This place is called Baan-Din which means
the mud house. This whole restaurant is
built from mud! So exciting isn't it!!! But
wait...this gorgeous restaurant also offers
some beautiful food with healthy recipes.
I found out about this place on my last trip
back home. I went in for lunch one day with
a group of friends and I couldn't believe
what was on offer here. The food was just so
nice being a mix of local Thai and Japanese
dishes. Located inside the Chiang Mai
University Art Museum the atmosphere is very
bohemian and popular with Chiang Mai locals
and the Japanese ex pat community. You will
feel like your sitting in a restaurant
outside the city whilst you’re actually
right in the heart of
the
Nimmanheimin Road.
